Pragmatically Radical?

Clay Shirky writes the newspapers' obituary, and makes this observation:

Revolutions create a curious inversion of perception. In ordinary times, people who do no more than describe the world around them are seen as pragmatists, while those who imagine fabulous alternative futures are viewed as radicals.

Whether or not this blog will prove to be merely pragmatic or slyly radical, only time will tell... Let's just strap in and enjoy the ride, shall we?
