So, it seems that Secretary of Defense Robert Gates will be skipping next month's NATO summit. Word is, Gates is "engulfed in work" as he tries get the defense budget to align with President Obama's defense priorities.
Would've been a nice trip, too... Strasbourg, France and Kehl, Germany.
Psst, Gates: next time you're subordinates start running off at the mouth, you might want to tell them to STFU.
